Nazi London 1936. Sherlock Holmes, Dr Watson, Mrs Hudson and Professor Moriarty are fugitives from the Gestapo trying to overthrow the regime. Loved the idea, very inventive, but the author added a few weird ideas and added some quite strange characters at the end that were not really necessary. The writing is good, atmospheric with some great characters with a smattering of real period characters involved, I really liked the irregulars and Holmes was quite well done, Overall this was an entertaining story that didn't quite reach the heights it could have. Narration was very good, easy to listen to and a good range. I received a complimentary copy of the audio and am leaving a honest voluntary review.
