I found myself heavily invested in the Animara protagonists even through the lens of a nature doc. The fact the writing had an Attenborough style to it helped immensely,
I would recommend this book to any fans of rpg's like Pokémon, or as a pallet cleanser between reading long winded LitRPG series.
