I discovered this series by chance and have loved reading it a first time then a second. Albany Walker has fast become one of my favorite writers. When I discovered it on audiobook I loved it even more and Heather Costa is a brilliant narrator.
I have since listened to many books Heather Costa has narrated and possess all of Albany Walker Walker’s book in audio and written form. I’m an absolute fan and recommend this book without hesitation.

I actually enjoyed this as an easy read. The characters are great but I was wanting to explore each of them more that we got too. That said the story lines are fast paced and have questions lift regarding all the main characters and some of the smaller roles. I loved the development of the story and was not happy with the end as now I’m wondering how Christmas will go. Great read. Would recommend
