Long, interesting zombie stories without the usual self-hate for humanity on show in these things. Voice acting is excellent from both artists and the story is good fun. I don't often make it through an entire trilogy on Audible but I am glad I stayed the course for this one.

Wow - just Wow

I must of listen to over 40 or 50 hours over the 3 books and from start to finish I hooked , on edge , pulled inyo the story and made feel part of it.

I know that overall I was not impressed with the second book but I got the third…….I had to I needed closure.

The book is well written and very descriptive. Not being American and have never been to New York I had to pull up google maps as I needed to see the areas that were being written about. I mean all these groups and they seem to be able to zip between the areas quite quickly……so how would there be enough readily available to feed all the groups? Why were they not just bumping into each other all the time……I know that it is just a story and I should just immerse myself into it, however even though I really started to dislike the main character the book was really well written so I just wanted to know.

The ending though…..not the epilogue where everything was tied up nicely….but the last couple of chapters…such a massive build up..he was going to get it and get it bad….then it was just out with a whimper although there was a bang. Seriously that chap would have been hung drawn and quartered.. but even with her internal dialogue it was just so impersonal…..

I have the other series in my wish list however I do not think that I will be listening to them. However if you like a love story with your survival then this is a well written heavy duty Mills and Boon with an attractive self depreciating heroine that you will enjoy.

Seriously unsatisfying ending.

Amazing book, amazing author, amazing characters... I can't back this series more... it's pure glad. the writing is so rich. the narration , perfect!!! this is the best set of books in the genre. worth 5☆'s and more. so sad it's over... I've got a book hangover!
