I really enjoyed this book - it covers everything I wanted to know about intermittent fasting for women over 50 with a great section on the health benefits. It even breaks things down (including different fasting lengths) so that you can choose the approach and methods that work for your lifestyle and your body.

All the topics are then beautifully explained across all of the book that covers the key benefits of intermittent fasting, and one of the best and easiest to understand descriptions of the insulin effect and the fasting effect that I have heard. But this is true of much of this book with with concise, evidence-based and easy to grasp actions that making it so easy to understand and apply.

I loved the meals and recipes which are tailored for the diet and even include nutrient information and the advice and methods specifically for women over 50 - especially understanding my hormones and what’s going on. And some of the tips - like what to drink, which fats to include, mindful eating as well as the supporting exercises - are perfect and very useful.

It a fantastic resource and a very enjoyable listen! And I am going to follow it closely as I begin this journey. Great book!
