This is one of the few books I’ve listened to without having read the book first. I loved every minute of it. The story captured my attention immediately and held it throughout the entire book. I sometimes wished that the narrators would speak quicker as I was desperate to find out what happened next. I can’t wait to read more of Rachel Grants books.

Nonstop action and adventure. Great romance and chemistry between Xavier and Audrey. Multiple POVs.

Make sure you read the prequel - Before the Storm: One Hot Night - before this.

Fabulous narration! I kinda wish they had a third narrator for the other POVs just to help distinguish them but it's not a deal-breaker.

This audiobook was fantastic, a romanticised thriller that ticked all the boxes. The narrators were amazing, the story was engaging and entertaining, the characters had depth and real chemistry. I felt I was in the book with them all.

Wow what can I say. What an amazing story. I wasn’t sure what to expect after the prequel but this was thrilling. This story was full of intrigue, drama and suspense. The complexities of the book had me hanging on to every page and listening to it as I read made the whole book come alive. Wonderful narration too. I’m in awe of this author’s imagination and knowledge. Every book she writes is unique. I can’t wait to see who’s book is next. Fabulous book highly recommended it.

This action packed romantic suspense story kept my rapt attention from the start. I like how capable both Audrey and Xavier are. Loved the writing and thrilling storyline.
