 When the cold season comes to Japan, many people start eating Japanese nabe hot pots. 日本では寒い季節が近づくと、多くの人が鍋料理を食べます。
鍋料理は、テーブルの上に卓上コンロを置いて、大きな鍋で肉類や魚貝、野菜など、好きなものを煮る料理です。
たいていは何人かで鍋を囲み、自分で好きな具を取って食べます。
具は、ポン酢やタレにつけて食べるのが一般的です。
鍋料理にはスープや具の違いで、「水炊き」や「寄せ鍋」「ちり鍋」「キムチ鍋」などの種類があります。
具がなくなると、残ったスープにご飯を入れて雑炊にしたり、うどんやラーメンの麺を入れて食べることもあります。
野菜や肉などが豊富に摂れる鍋は、栄養バランスに優れます。
