One of the greatest books I have read where liberal arts and broader wisdom are applied to investing. Great book if you want to learn the principles of how mental models work in life and work. This book is a masterpiece. It is incredible how the Author had the capacity to explain so many mental models in such a simple and easy way to use. this is great book.

If the thought of owning real estate has ever even crossed your mind, this is the book for you. It is extremely easy to read and is PACKED with all of the info that you will need to begin investing in real estate. It is a comprehensive guide that first asks you if real estate is right for you by providing the negative aspects/risks of owning real estate. It follows that up with providing information about every aspect of investing, owning, and managing your property. An instant classic! Unlike all the bear market predictions, and other polyanna prognistications of the dow sky rocketing, this book, which was sorely needed, gets at the true nature of the stop and start history of equity markets.

Its a great book for people who wants to start into the investing world. Whether investing in yourself or investing in a business are almost as important all together. You have to be honest and know yourself and study and be clear on what business you want to invest on. I totally agree on the part about savings vs. investing. On saving your money at the bank and staying in your comfort zone and be mediocre. Waiting until you retire and about to die. This was quite a well written introduction to investing. There were several different types of investing discussed but not so many as to be overwhelming to a beginner.

I wish I had this book years ago. If you are a syndicator or an investor considering investing in a syndication, this book is a MUST HAVE. The book explains syndicated investing from both points of view. I am the owner of a successful real estate sales company and picked up this book to supplement existing residential dales knowledge for expansion into commercial real estate Syndication and acquisition. Ever best book.

For a first-time investor starting off, I have been befuddled by all the jargon that is used when managing an investment portfolio; and of course, since I have very little capital to begin with, I cannot reasonably obtain the services of a financial planning professional to help me make sense of things. This was a great book to take my first step into learning about investing. The book was thorough in the fundamentals of investments such as stock market terminology and ratio meaning and how to use those ratios to make a decision.
