I am struggling to get through this due to the narrators voice. I would honestly return this if I could.

I would certainly recommend this book to anyone wishing to gain a broad understanding of the investment world. However, there are some outdated views, some due to the rate at which the world has changed in recent years, some that seem to be based in stubborn traditionialism. The section on crypto is particularly silly: comparing a currency (BTC) against a commodity (gold).

Very useful, but some outdated perspectives.

Good beginner’s guide

Most of what you will hear, if you have done your research, will be pretty standard.
I particularly liked the part about warning about FX charges as well as selling your stocks that were possibly less of a profit than others to offset loss and/or reduce potential taxation.
Other than that, all pretty standard.
Defo worth a listen however if you are new to investing like me.
