This had everything I wanted and more. RAIN was a fantastic character, and the production from SoundBooth elevated it all magnificently. The smaller scale did not reduce the stakes at all, in fact, I've never been more engaged.

I couldn’t understand a word R.A.I.N said, I love effected on voices but please make sure your listeners can hear the words and not just the effect


But I bloody love this series and am hugely invested in the fates of all the characters

Whilst the Irrelevant Jack series as focused on the multidimensional threat and working to push it back across Subroutine Sanna. Book 6 takes a slower pace, the bulk of the story focusing on a single tower run over the course of two days.

Despite this, it never loses any of the stakes that have been built up. This book focusing on the personal growth and relationships of the party rather than the Kingdom of Blackmoor itself.

SBT do a surpurb job with the sound effects adding to scenes in subtle and overt ways depending on the situation. All actors reprising their roles to great effect.

Definitely a great listen and surpurb addition to the series.
