About this listen

Help your parents live with dignity in their twilight years without sacrificing your own health and sanity.

When elderly parents can no longer care for themselves, the responsibility for their care usually falls on their adult children. This guide will help you navigate this difficult journey so that you can take care of your parents without unnecessarily disrupting your life. Filled with insights from the author’s own personal experience with caring for her aging mother, it will make your caregiving experience more manageable and more rewarding, right from the start.

Here’s just a fraction of what you will discover inside:

  • A compassionate look inside your parents’ world to help you empathize and understand what they are going through
  • How to handle embarrassing senior moments with sensitivity and grace
  • The most common conflict situations you’ll encounter with your parents and how to resolve them peacefully
  • How to slow down memory loss and declining health and help your parents remain active and independent for as long as possible
  • What to do when it all becomes too much for you—find out where to go, what to do, and who to ask for help when you need it the most

And much more.

Caregiving is never easy no matter who you’re caring for, but it’s even harder when you’re taking care of a parent. But while you can’t turn back time, you can make this time count by providing them with a caring environment and unconditional support. Your parents have spent decades doting on you and attending to your needs—now it’s your turn to do the same for them.

Make sure your parents’ needs—and your own—are met, regardless of what challenges come your way. Scroll up, and click the “buy now" button right now.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a book that would help me with my caregiving to my mum, and I just got it! I have just reached the sandwich generation stage. My 96 year old mum is now reaching that stage where she's unable to do things by herself anymore, and we want her at home with us instead of in a care home. This audiobook has given me everything I need to know to be properly equipped for the task. The most crucial part of the audiobook for me is 'what to do when it becomes too much for me'. Aside from knowing what to expect and learning how to manage all situations, I'm also able to get help for myself and maintain a balance. This audiobook is a must-have for every caregiver. Strongly recommended!

My Dad will be 93 years young in 3 weeks. I have been a live-in care giver for the last 4.5 years. I have recently started seeing signs dementia is setting in. I appreciate the time and effort put into this book to help me understand what I may encounter in the future and how to prepare each of us. The first course of action I will take is to encourage more activity both physically and mentally to help the blood flow to the brain to help slow down dementia.

Perfect timing and info for me and my Dad

This book speaks volumes for the struggling caregivers today. The book helped me out a lot in understanding how things are the way they are now, and how we can do better with the aging elders that are in our care. I feel like I’m a whole different person after listening to this and there’s so much I’ve improved on as a caregiver and more that I want to improve on.
