This is an enjoyable book that I was happy to have listened to over the course of the weekend. It contains a cast of interesting characters. I enjoyed the narration of this one just wish there was a little more distinction between the characters.

This is Jaded, the series, it’s 3 mini books. The beginning of this book had me intrigued since we immediately have our main character, Kari, finding out her fiancé had been cheating on her for quite some time with multiple women right before their wedding. She calls it off and her and her best friends go off on an adventure and move to Maine to leave it all behind. We meet Jake, who she interviews him for a story for the paper. They instantly have a connection. There romance seemed kind of rushed. The L word thrown out way too quickly. I think the plot could have been more interesting.

Don’t want to nitpick but the audio had some background noise during portions which is distracting. The narration was sometimes hard to figure out who was speaking; the voices weren’t very different.
