Summary

Claire Ann Rozette, newly hired English teacher in the small Montana town of Combustion, is hopeful for her future. She soon discovers that she enjoys high school teaching, and her newfound community has welcomed her with open arms. On top of this happiness, a sudden love interest appears, which seems to further ensure her joy. However, without warning, tragedy arrives, and Claire’s life veers out of control, her youthful dreams shattered.
