I loved this book. Did not want it to end so was glad to see that the story continued. Like all of Paige Toon's books it was very well written and leaves you with conflicting opinions of the characters. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the narrator contributed to making these very shallow and unlikable characters even more unlikable. The main female character was annoyingly weak and apart from being pretty, there was nothing more to her. It didn't help that the narrator made her sound whiney and indecisive at every turn. What annoyed me the most is the way narrator read nearly every sentence as if it was a question or the thought was unfinished, giving impression that no one was sure of what they were saying.
I love every other book I read by Page Toon, she's an amazing author. Sadly, this book of hers however is not my cup of tea.

Loved the narrator but was thoroughly irritated by the main character. She makes lots of poor decisions and the ending really infuriated me.
Narrator was great and enjoyed listening to her voice.
Hoping Paige Toon's other books aren't quite so hard work.

This is one of Paige’s earlier books I think and her writing shows this. The story is entertaining but does not really get into the depths of the characters as in her later books. Reader was good as that always makes a difference in an audiobook.
