Blume speaks with Banks Street librarian Lisa Von Drasek and it's clear that the two have great chemistry. Blume delights her young crowd with unique anecdotes from her life, a reading from her Pain and The Great One series, and even a cool new writing exercise. Thalia Kids' Book Club is a must for any young person interested in having great literary conversations!
This is a lovely resource for anyone considering creating stories for children.
Blume's patience and respect for the audience she creates for comes through abundantly clear in the way she deals with and speaks with her young audience.
