The books in this series are quite short, and this is the shortest so far at 4.5 hours. But make no mistake, they pack a lot into that time, are fast paced and action packed, and well worth the money.

The previous story left it unclear if there would be any more stories in the Junkyard Cats series. This book answers that question in spades and opens up a brand new story arc. By the end of the book, Shining has gained new allies, new enemies, and a new goal. Already looking forward to the next in the series.

Faith Hunter’s style is fast paced, engaging and easy to listen to. Khristine Hvam’s narration compliments this perfectly with the characterisations and accents that make each character immediately recognisable, and again easy to listen to. PS love the cats sounds 😊
