This book had me obsessed and unable to put it down. I went through every emission and felt like I was there. The story is so well written that even the background careceters have backgrounds

Felt like I was watching it fold out in front of me

So I’m totally eating my words from my review of book 1 as I thought it would be too YA for my liking. I now completely understand the hype & im officially obsessed with this book, story, series, characters etc! Jonny is top tier book boyfriend 🥰 the story just had a bit of everything… drama, comedy, romance, family, friends & a fantastic relationship!
Also my favourite pet name of all time… Shannon lik the river

I know there was some very heavy subject matter in this, but it was broken up with humour so that you weren't utterly depressed. I laughed so hard. And when it's told by a guy with an Irish accent? Somehow it's funnier!! The story was so engaging and page turning. All the side characters are as fascinating as the main ones. Narration was fantastic and just completed it for me. What I especially love is how your interest is kept by a constant buzz of shorter plots or chapter ideas. It gives you little hits the whole way through the story! I've found few authors able to do this!
Keep writing stories like this, Chloe - they are phenomenal!

Another wonderful pair of audiobooks!🥺👏

This took the heartbreak even further. I adored how supportive, though, overwhelmed himself, that Johnny was to Shannon and her all of her brothers!💙 His parents were wonderful.😍

Shannon grew in personal and physical strength by the end of part two. She was so supportive of Johnny's dreams.🫶 Their 'end-game' vibes are so strong!💘

I loved their friend group. Gibsy and Clare were hilarious.😂 I get Nesta vibes from Lizzy. She needs tender, gentle care.💞

Although this was an extremely tough, emotive read, it was addictive. I'm not sure I want to continue with the rest of the series, purely due to the cost of the audiobooks, sadly.🤷🏻‍♀️

The performances were amazing, the narrators really did a great job!! They managed to make you feel like you were in the books and brought the characters to life. I loved the characters, the story handles some really difficult subjects but I found myself laughing so much! The friendships between the characters were amazing too, I really enjoyed the whole thing! I’m from the UK and normally find it hard to read books based over here because they are quite often written from an American author (that’s not a bad thing) but as a result they normally feel like what someone imagines it to be like over here, this book was really relatable, I know people in my life that are so similar to the characters and who have dealt with similar struggles.

Great narrators!!!
