This was an excellent story. I loved the characters and the love story was beautiful. I wish there were more of this series on here for I’d have bought them all instantly.

Excellent story 👏👏👏

Kissing the Shark surprised me—it wasn’t the funny instalove monster romance I expected, but rather an emotional and personal growth slow burn.
Karlo's insecurities about being worthy of Razorjaw’s love created some tension, while Razorjaw’s confident persona faltered in the human world. I appreciated the emotional depth, though I wished there were more on-page moments showing their growing connection.
The tone was more serious than anticipated, shifting from a silly premise to a grounded story of two characters overcoming their insecurities to be together. It was a pleasant surprise, but not what I expected-nor totally wanted-from the premise.

As a firm believer that we need more gay monster romance (in audio), I’m all in for supporting this book just on principle. The characters were endearing, and the romance was sweet, though it didn’t leave a lasting impression on me. It was fun and enjoyable, but not one I’ll probably think about long-term. That said, the epilogue was a standout moment that put a smile on my face.

If you’re a fan of emotional depth and slow-burn romance, this one might be worth checking out. Just don't expect a ton of laughs, but do expect a heartwarming-if slightly forgettable-love story.
