What a great book! The author did a fantastic job explaining dementia. Since my mother, brother, and I share a home. My mother has dementia, which makes it more difficult to care for her and understand her, but I now feel like I can do both of those things better after listening to this amazing guide. We appreciate the author's wonderful efforts. Plus, the narrator's voice was soothing; his voice makes this audiobook peaceful.

Even before I listened to the main contents of the narration, the book made me cry. The author mentioned his late mom, and how he missed her and love her. The dedication to his mother just shows his passion for this topic. I can feel the passion and hope in this audiobook. I don’t know anyone with dementia so this is a wonderful reference for me. Creating awareness on this illness is always valuable to people like me who have not personally come across anyone with dementia. I will be more understanding and compassionate if I do come across someone who does have this illness. I feel armed with some knowledge of dementia and I thank you for providing this book.

Dementia is such an awful disease, which is why this book is important. It's so helpful to know the difference between old age forgetfulness and dementia because if dementia is caught in its early stages, its progression may be able to be treated/slowed. My fiance's father has dementia and at only 66 years old, he can no longer speak and does not remember his wife or children. This book covers important topics such as the signs and symptoms of dementia, ways to prevent memory loss, and tips for caregivers. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone looking to gain a better understanding of this important issue.
