Summary

Hannah Daly is a pediatric occupational therapist and an advanced sensory integration practitioner who is profoundly dyslexic, dyspraxic, and has sensory processing disorder. She has multiple university degrees but still cannot read or write.

In Knowing No Boundaries, she gives an honest account of living with these hidden disabilities. This book is a unique coming-of-age, feel-good memoir that strikes the balance of vulnerability and humor. The narrative is accessible, informative, and emotionally provocative. In telling her life story, Hannah demonstrates her determination and perseverance as she continually pushes boundaries and embraces the challenges of being neurodiverse. Her story of success in the most unlikely of circumstances encourages us all to be braver and more accepting of difference.

Yup I absolutely “get” this story. How amazing that someone who can read or write can tell such a clear story, a story that needed to be told. What a triumph, what a story.

I think this is a great book, I have the same disabilities as hannah, especially the dyspraxia and sensory issues but i wasnt diagnosised till I was almost and adult, I felt like it was the first time I had ever heard anyone describe there childhood in a way I could relate too, I actually teared up listing to this book on a plane back from a holiday, I think it is a great book for everyone but especially anyone who is trying to understand themselves or someone else who has the same kind of difficulties

Feeling understood

I laughed and cried listening to this book I was reminded of the difficulties I had in school and through my life, I've even learnt things about myself I hadn't considered before.

I struggled a little with the change in sounds but to be honest the content is more important. xx

What an inspiration 👏
