They both have scars on their souls, live life looking over their shoulder and avoiding the media, but they both have unique experiences that allow them to understand the other in a way nobody else can. It is beautiful to finally see Chris begin to open up and want to be with Gianna and Violet, rather than hiding away as he has done for years. As stupid as it sounds their dangerous and almost unbelievable fight for their lives helps him focus on something other than his own traumatic past, he can now see what he wants for his future and allows himself to begin to move on and have hope. I love that Violet and Brian instantly mesh and form a close bond, allowing Chris and Gianna to focus on themselves and healing their childhood scars.
This was a fantastic read on Kindle Unlimited, but is even better on Audible. However, I am a little sad that this is the last in the series.
