Leda è un'insegnante, divorziata da tempo, tutta dedita alle figlie e al lavoro. Ma le due ragazze partono per raggiungere il padre in Canada. Il libro e' senza dubbio particolare. Ho deciso di leggerlo dopo aver visto il film su Netflix. Ma l'interpretazione di Anna Bonaiuto e' semplicemente ADORABILE. Quella voce che da' l'impressione di essere "grattata dal fumo" e' meravigliosamente intrigante e profonda.

Pointless book, the main character is a copy of Elena Greco in My Brilliant Friend. No point to the story, no depth, no story. I don't recommend it. Very disappointing, especially as I am a huge fan of the Napolitan Quartet.

the honesty and confidence in Ellena Ferrante writing. She is compering herself to the young working class woman and admirers the quality of love and care for her small daughter. The writer regrets the mistake she made in the past,but also admire her hard work,her determination to become her own independent person and therefore there is no way of coming back to her own roots.Her loneliness is very painful, but she is regaining her selfcomposion and leaves the villa.
