Summary

In Lady Dragonfly and other Sherlock Holmes Stories, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson encounter criminals and enemies of various kinds and in different places. A kidnapped girl is rescued, a stolen skeleton is recovered, an inheritance is identified and returned, and the Great War brings them into conflict with German spies and enemy forces. Holmes also finds himself working in cooperation with Solar Pons, and with G. K. Chesterton Father Brown. In all of these stories, the game is unquestionably afoot.

Some good stories and some only so-so. The narration is done by one of the better narrators. On balance, worth listening to for the better stories alone.

A great collection of Sherlock Holmes stories full of intrigue and that clever deductive skill that Holmes is so well known for. Excellent narration.

Most of the stories were did not follow Doyle’s characters very well.

Some of them were just weird.

Most were banal. I sussed out the conclusion from the beginning.

Although the narrator does Sherlock and Watson well, they do not have the ability to carry off female voices nor accents.
