I love alex lidell, she is one of my favourite authors. This new series is great. It's a bully reverse harem with hot Fae males, vampires and witches. I love the twists and turns and I cant predict the next move,although I can see the bad witch not being dead being a twist!
The three stars for performance are mainly due to the terrible accents. I do not understand why the performers can not do a scottish accent. well I do, it's hard but why do this book or attempt it when it sounds awful! it just takes me out of it. the lady sounds like a 'Oliver's please sir can I have some more' English, you know if you were doing a accent of someone who is smarmy and is the protagonist! Ellis sounds Irish / odd accented when the man reads for him. He doesnt sound sexy, he sounds like hes in pain. I'm really sorry but even in the power of five books the scottish accent sounds swedish/ odd pain sounds. It just makes me laugh. please please find people that can do an accent! I love that thier is a man and woman reading the different parts I just wish the voices were different when reading the accents. it's an afront to any scottish person....and I'm English!
