About this listen

To achieve an Olympic gold is impressive; to be part of a couple doing this in the same sport is rare; to do it 10 times between you is unprecedented. Britain's most successful female and male Olympians give us the inside track on becoming a champion. Hear their take on how they became the best in the world while finding in each other the perfect partner.

I listened to this all in one go through a morning & part of afternoon including through my gym session! A love story but mainly an honest account of two passionate elite athletes. from their paths to the top of their sport to hearing everything that helped get them there. A must for any budding cyclist or indeed anyone aspiring to a path to the top of their own sport. There’s a lot there they can learn from! Enjoyable & inspiring.

Laura & Jason:j ourney to the top.

I really enjoyed this honest account of the dedication and belief both of these athletes have. The love story is a nice twist to the whole account.

British at its best

very nice story to see what people go through! so interesting! it's special and allows to slightly open a curtain into what it takes to win

Very nice insight into the Olympic cycling

This was tough. It was annoying enough that there was constant chopping and changing between the male and female narrators but, my God, the woman and her awful attempt at speaking "Estuary Essex" made it all but unlistenable.

Truly Awful Narration

always a shame when a book written by a personality and in this case two, don't narrate themselves. you buy into the personality, character of truely amazing people, but the impact is lost when you know it's someone else's voice. shame ...didn't get past 2nd chapter

would be Bette if narratored themselves
