This bookset contains the first two books in the League of Gallize series. While each book is standalone, as with most series, it is best to enjoy the books in order. There are some issues that spread across the whole series and, as such, develop slowly through the books. In this case there is an enemy pack of wolves that are involved in the drug trade, amongst other things. Aside from the wolves, the Gallize shifters have their own mortal enemy that may present a serious problem. Overall this is an really strong start to a very interesting shifter-special ops style romance series.

I particularly enjoyed this take on the shifter world. In these books shifters were exposed to humans some 8 years ago. As expected, the humans freaked out and violence erupted. Now they have reached some sort of peace, but it appears very fragile. More importantly the humans and shifters do not know everything. There are still hidden elements and with these come a whole host of potential challenges. The Gallize shifters are one such element.

I am looking forward to the rest of the books in the series. Dianna Love has introduced some fantastic characters who absolutely deserve their own stories and HEAs.

So happy this series is now on audiobook. I've read them and now I get to listen to them which is a different experience, one I really enjoy. Dianna Love gives build her own unique origin story for the shifters which I appreciate. If you love shifter stories as much as I do, don't hesitate to download this!

I havent come across these books before and brought on a whim, very glad I did. The stories are really engaging and I love that both FMC are headstrong and know what they want and don't get pushed around.

I was starting to worry about the end of the 2nd book but glad it ended how I hoped hahaha.

Only downside is I cant see anymore in this series out yet and I really want to hear Rorys story next so will have to look out for that one.

if you like shifter novels, strong characters with a shifter / military kind of feel then I would recommend you read these, or in my case listen hahah.
