This book contains so many useful words and short presses for tourists from days of week, months of the year, time, pronouns to everything in between. The months are the easiest as they are almost the same as English.

I thought I would struggle with some of the sounds, however it was really interesting as the most difficult sounds are the ones made at the back of the throat, but I found these quite easy as they are similar to Arabic sounds.

Great book for tourists, I would recommend it to anyone planning a holiday and need to pick up some Dutch vocabulary then this book is for you.

Great and easy way to learn some Dutch phrases and words. I've been learning new languages this past year so thought I'd buy this audiobook.learn the basics , body parts,animals and expressions. every word repeated and nice pace to keep up

I wouldn’t say I like traveling, but I intend to travels to Dutch-speaking countries, and the audiobook gives information on essential things I will need to be able to communicate and have a decent conversation in the local Dutch language, so at least I can have a fun trip.

Before my last trip to Netherlands I tried to learn a bit Dutch myself reading a book and listening to accompanied CDs. But this audiobook makes that so much easier... I loved that it is created especially for tourists and you do not need to put into your brain words which are not necessary for your travel.

Bought this as my wife are traveling to Holland this fall, and we both wanted to get versed in basic Dutch to help us get around the country, and to understand basic communication. Learn Dutch for American Tourists breaks down the most fundamental, and required Dutch to get around the country as a native English speaker.

The narrator is easy to understand and follow along with, and the lessons are structured so they are easy to memorize. Would definitely recommend.
