I am a mom with 2 jobs and constantly busy so finding time to learn a new language is difficult. But I have recently moved, found myself in the car for longer periods, and wanted to fill my time with something meaningful. I had been listening to podcasts and other audiobooks but found this book and I was quite amazed at how much I could learn in a 45-minute drive home.

The narrator has exceptional enunciation, the cornerstone of effective language learning. The narrator's deliberate pronunciation of words and phrases makes it easy for me to grasp the nuances of Mexican Spanish. I like that the author added in real-life scenarios, from shopping to dining, to help you learn how to incorporate the language into everyday life.

In a world that is constantly busy and unfocused, having an audiobook like this that is educational is a great use of my time. You can learn the language efficiently and effectively. My family has been very intrigued of how I learned so many words so fast, so now we are even playing the audiobook on our Alexa device. Created some family bonding time as well.

I found this audiobook to be very useful in learning conversational Mexican Spanish. I teach in an alternative school, and every year, I have students who come into the classroom with English as a second language, and it is helpful to speak sometimes in their language because it shows I care. I played this in my car during my commute, and it helped me get over feeling awkward about speaking in another language and gave me a deeper understanding of how it feels to learn the language of mathematics in a different language as well. I improved my intonation because of the intentional slowing down of saying and listening to each phrase. Because of this audiobook, I now use Mexican Spanish daily in my classroom and daily conversations in the workplace.
