Just enjoyed the latest in the DI Harry Grimm series. As gripping a tale as usual, populated with the great ensemble cast of characters that make up Wensleydale’s finest, and the locals, all set in glorious Wensleydale and its surroundings. Can’t wait for the next book.

Was so excited to get this , I stopped another book midway to listen to this . Once again its like reading about the lives and stories of old friends you know. The way David writes is like no other author I listen to, he gets you immersed in the characters and story from page 1. Cannot wait for the Novela and next book in the series, already picturing what the wedding of the year is going to be like

Another fantastic entry in the DCI Harry Grimm series. David J. Gatward’s eloquent descriptions of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales make you feel as though you’re right there alongside Harry and his team as they investigate not just one unusual deaths. The story is gripping, atmospheric, and thoroughly engaging from start to finish. As always, Aubrey Parsons delivers an outstanding narration, bringing the characters and setting vividly to life. Highly recommended.

Great again even though the story was a bit weak, brilliant told as always. the voice gives real life to the characters

As always Dave’s books drag you in from the first paragraph! Love the places i know well in the Yorkshire Dales coming in each story.
We all love the characters of course and Aubrey brings them to life and if you read and listen to the books you hear the voices from Aubrey in your head lol !
