This is THE PERFECT book for lovers of second chance romances. This was so swooney and cute but also emotional and..and… just so damn good. This was a beautiful example of how much open communication and sharing your deepest, most personal thoughts can save your relationship, and help you find a way back to your love. I loved how vulnerable both Wren and Ellis let themselves be. And the narration.. it was flawless. I deeply enjoyed both the male and female narrators voices. They were so natural.

Love me some fantasy books but it usually portrays younger characters. Them being over 30 and parents make it all so very relatable. What a beautiful story!

Probably my favourite listen of 2025 so far. Everything about this was perfect - the story, the writing, the narration and Ellis and Wren. It’s such a beautiful story that doesn’t shy away from heartache and difficult themes, but you root for two characters who just need to find their way back to one another. It’s a lovely, lovely story - hope there’s more to come in this series!
