Legacy is the debut novel in Carrie Ann Ryan's new Ashford Creek series where we meet Felicity and Callum...and many more besides.

It all started out with Felicity's school girl crush and ended being so much more!

This age gap/ brother's best friend/ small town romance ticks so many of my 'favourite' boxes...The thought of something that might be 'forbidden' is enough to win me over every day of the week.

The 'delay' in these two getting together only adds to the anticipation of what's to come. To say it is worth the wait is an understatement.

I really felt for Callum and his siblings and have no doubt we will find out even more secrets that the they have yet to uncover.

Callum and Felicity's journey to their HEA endured peaks and troughs, putting this couple through the mill in the process.

My hope is that this series also allows Felicity's brothers have a chance at finding their 'one' too.

All in all, Legacy is an interesting and appetite whetting series debut that I look forward to sampling further.

Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke are a swoon worthy team and bring this love story to bright technicolour.

Callum is a ex NFL player now a brewery owner living in the town named after his family Ashford.
Felicity is Callum’s best friend little sister and a lot younger than Callum. She lives and works in Ashford Creek but has had a crush on Callum for a very long time.
Absolutely love the development between Callum and felicity and especially the best friend’s little sister storyline.
The narration is top notch for this book by the fabulous Samantha Brentmoor and the amazing Jason Clarke.
Cannot wait for the next one with Bodhi and Keira.

Beautiful romance. The Brother’s best friend Callum Ashford falls for the much younger Felicity. Callum’s past is tortured, his father has a dark history and he doesn’t feel like he is good enough for her. It’s a small town romance with all the feels. When they do get together is fire ignition 🌟 Loved the voices narrating the story too.

Felicity has had feelings for her brother’s best friend Callum for a while, and they only escalated on the night that he was there for her when she found herself in a dangerous situation. As much as she wants it to different she is trying to accept that he will never want more but that proves to become even more difficult when they become neighbors.

Callum’s past has been filled with loss and even though he has feelings for Felicity he also wants to keep her away from the dark influences in his life. Now that they are neighbors they begin spending more time together as friends which soon escalates into more, but will they be able to overcome the past that refuses to let them move forward.

I loved the family relationships in this story which included his siblings and her family as well. Callum has been through so much and he wants to protect her from everyone and everything including himself, but Felicity sees and wants the man he is and isn’t about to accept anything less. Jason Clarke had you feeling the conflict that Callum was while Samantha Brentmoor brings out the spirited side of Felicity.

Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke really brought the sweet and swoony with a touch of mystery to life.
