Great story! So happy to have a Danmei in audiobook form! Really really enjoyed this and can’t wait for the next book in this story. Likeable characters and fun adventures together. Excellent narration.

There is next to no romance in this volume, which makes sense because Hongjun is a very naïve 16-year-old who has lived in the mountains his entire life.

It's building between Hongjun and Li Jinglong, though. It's easy to see the hints between them early on, even before the other exorcists start to tease them.

The reason for the 5 stars is the plot and the characters, okay, everything. Engaging and fast-paced, the new exorcists have to learn to work together even though they all have ulterior motives for being there.

I really hope there is audio for the rest of the series because it helped me it the pronunciations and I really enjoyed the narrator's general tone and performance.

Please do the rest of the series!

I loved everything about this - the characters were so well written, I immediately took to them, and the plot was enjoyable and interesting. The performance was really wonderful, I couldn’t believe it when I saw a Danmei novel with an audiobook - my dream!! I’m hoping for more and can’t wait to listen to the next one!
