Sal's growth over the last few books was brilliant. The crafting is still a massive part of the story which is great, despite having new weapons and improved combat skills Sal continuing to craft things to improve peoples lives is awesome. Don't get me wrong there's great combat as well but it's nice seeing he doesn't become op and ignore the crafting that got him op.

The detail for all the abilities and their evolution, and the design work and fighting styles have been very well thought out. The characters are well developed too. This was a most enjoyable book. Really looking forward to the next book

love this series. it's a lovely easy fun listen, I genuinely love the characters and their development, I'm rooting for them all. The narration really brings the characters to life. This series has got lots of excitement, friendship and an amazing world and the only downside is waiting for the next book in the series to be released. It's one of my feel good series that I can listen to when life gets heavy. Its a series that I have listened to multiple times and still enjoy every time. I can't wait for the next book.
