I highly recommend if you like more story to spice. still holds spice but its not every other chapter. It holds a great story! I went through a lot of emotions for both characters and even the side characters. Damn, poor Nas, my heart broke for her. I want to buy book 2, but i hate cheats and her dude sounds like a dog bad boy. Im AuDHD so my anxiety would shoot through the roof wanting to murder a fictional character lol

The book does pack a punch. Its got lots going on, but each chapter is required. there is no filler. As an AuDHD female, I dont cry much. But damn Lev's speech in the bedroom brought a tear to my eye.

Not a dark romance. The story holds its own with betrayal, love, patience, family secrets, drama! But no eye roll or cheesy moments.

Really recommend this audio book.
Unusual storyline with interesting host of characters. Not a hallmark sugar coated novel but a gritty engaging tale.
Excellent narration….give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

this book is well worth the credit. it covers difficult issues such as teenage homelessness, child abuse and what I'm convinced is autism spectrum disorder, all done thoughtfully and effectively within the book. the book is well written and different from the usual books of this style and has a story line that grows throughout the book, introducing you to other characters that are every bit as interesting as the main characters, which leaves you wanting to hear their stories too. I honestly don't know why there aren't more reviews for this book. I'm looking forward the Vic's book and hope we get Sasha's on audible too.
