Really enjoyed the narrator in this. The story made me laugh multiple times. It was a nice, easy read. I really enjoyed the characters and the plot. I really enjoyed the writing. The narrator definitely brought the story to life and was a great choice.

This is a great, funny story. Jane and her best friend Sophie are in New Orleans. Jane is a blogger and she is there to blog on the Mardi Gras. What she didn't count on was running into the very sexy and handsome vampire Ethan. Ethan is a vampire, he has a strong reaction when he meets Jane, something that has not happened in a very long time. Thinking she is his late fiancée reincarnated he clams and turns her into a vampire. Jane wasn't made for this lifestyle. How is she going to adjust will she? It's a really fun listen as well.

Licensed to Bite is the first book in the new Orleans Nocturnes series. It was funny and self-aware making fun of the heroine and calling her out on her annoying character traits. The premise of a vampire who faints at the sight of blood isn't new but is still fun. The cast of characters introduces were fun and Licensed to Bite was a great start to a series that can be fun.

Jane and Sophie are in New Orleans when they are taken home by 2 vampires as Sophie is too drunk to get home. Ethan puts a mark on Jane marking her off limits to other Vampires but he doesn’t realise he’s put the mating mark. As Jane can sense him she follows him and is run over and left for dead so Ethan turns and that’s where the fun starts. Jane isn’t what he expected she sassy and takes no crap from anyone and is not afraid to tell them what she thinks and that includes the Vampire council. Loved listening to this Jane is so funny and she’s brought to life by Hollie Jackson’s narration.
