Enjoyed the story but not the narrative. Very stilted, the narrator didn’t let the story flow and he didn’t leave enough of a pause in between paragraphs and chapters which made it annoying to listen to. Would of been 5 star if narrated nicer

Absolutely fabulous loving the characters and narration was great the story line was addictive and couldn’t turn it off looking forward to the next book tomorrow bring it on loved it x

An enjoyable book to listen to characters have the right amount of depth and fairly sure we’ll see some of them emerging later books. A negative aspect for me which runs through most of this offers books is the continued. Phrase of family means everything and the old-fashioned view of gangsters and loyalty bit like listening to the Mitch Brothers on EastEnders. It doesn’t need the over emphasis. I don’t want to give too much of the plot away. Some books have been tainted where others have done so. I will continue to purchase this offer books even if it’s more or less the same theme just a different scenario they are enjoyable in my Opinion.

i listened to the 2nd book first and enjoyed. i then bought the 3rd book in a sale. Decided to get the 1st one before listening to the 3rd and it was in the included range
i know the 2nd book has a different narrator which is better, all in all a very good listen
