Before the end of the first chapter I knew this was a book I was going to like. But I was wrong - I loved it! It's chock full of likeable and relatable characters (as well as a few unsavoury possibly relatable ones!) and a storyline with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. I love a good detective story and this hit the spot!

my first proper audiobook that was not read by the writer and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Sheridan is a copper in Liverpool with a team of colleagues who would do anything for her.
Jeff Nicholls is a bent copper who is hiding who he really is in plain sight.
would highly recommend this book especially when you have a long car journey because believe you me you won't be able to press that pause button

I have a new fave Author to listen to / read.
I loved listening a Holler unravelled this crime, snippets that others would miss she holds into and makes all the links to get the perpetrator
