Okay, very cheesy and far fetched ! The narrator performed a monologue ,not a dramatization so that didn't help. the good news is this is now in the 'Free Plus Catalogue', and an easy listen so worth a go (be warned it is not as good as the Author's other series 'South Downs').

Likeable characters in a good setting dealing with real world issues. I found this a charming story about fitting life around work, dealing with loss and illness and finding love added to hectic mix. There was enough to keep me interested and listening and thinking that the next book in the series is likely to be worth a listen as well. I would definitely recommend this novel.

This is a domestic drama, not really a real romance. It finishes without the answer to a mystery which is annoying, it'll probably be revealed later in the series.
I'm not bothering with the other books as, after reading the descriptions, they're just filled with more unnecessary drama, jealousy and silly lies as if they're pre-teens experiencing their first crush and are unable to communicate.
There are no steamy details if that's what you're looking for.
