Sometimes Freddy stops his narration to explain an unfamiliar word to Rosie, or to make a comment. This adds a nice interaction between the reader and the listener.
Freddy’s first story Lottie the Mouse in a Blue, Dotty Blouse’ became favorite with many children before it was published on Amazon.
A cute little mouse, fashionista and cheese lover, Lottie, runs out of cheese one day, and begins a cheese finding quest. She bravely travels far, fails twice, then eventually finds cheese. She cleverly overcomes the obstacles, then runs back home with a bag full of cheese, reversing the journey.
It’s a lovely story for listening with your young child at bedtime. The story has a rhythm, slight repetition, and a brave character who thinks on her feet, perseveres and brings the story to an happy ending.
