Hetty Affleck is working as a maid at the prestigious Beach Hotel in Littlehampton. I have really enjoyed listening to this and all the books in this series. I’m hoping there will be more books in the series as I’d love to know what happens to the hotel and the characters as the war comes to an end. Eilidh Beaton’s narration is a joy to listen to. How she uses her voice for each character is brilliant, bringing each character alive.
