Darcy tells the story in the first person and the narrator, whilst very good, portrays him as slightly pompous. Unusually, I did not guess the villain and was surprised at the reveal.

Jenetta James books are always worth an exploration, The writing is well developed and the language and dialogue are top notch.

This book is written from Darcy's POV throughout and David Pickering does and excellent job of the narration.
