About this listen

Six weeks.

That's how long my editor gave me to change my book from a baseball romance to one about hockey. A complete rewrite. Which is how I find myself in Montana, a thousand miles from home, researching hockey, and preparing to meet a local expert.

There's one small problem.

Or rather a big one. A big, grumpy problem.

My expert is none other than Nick Galaxy—the single dad and hockey captain I ran into minutes after landing in Montana and made a… well, let's just say I didn't make the best first impression. Neither did he, for that matter.

Deciphering his grunts will be nearly as hard as rewriting the entire book.

No matter, I'm up for the challenge.

Oh, and there's one other teeny, tiny thing. Minuscule really.

He has no idea that his dad has volunteered him to help or offered to let me stay in his guest cabin.

Tropes: grumpy/sunshine, single dad, hockey, forced proximity, and found family.

Narrated in duet style by Ryan Lee Dunlap and Erin Mallon with full cast, Savannah Peachwood, Christian Fox, Austin Stone, Teddy Hamilton, and Jason Clarke.

Loved this romance with a grumpy hockey playing Nick, single dad forced to help struggling author Ruby with everything about hockey.
Not quite enemies to lovers but grumpy to lovers.
The cast isn’t Nick’s dad and son Aidan, along with his teammates lend their opinions to Nick non-existent love life.
Slowly Ruby worms her way into Nick’s life and finds herself writing and falling in love.
Sharing the fact that her ex stole her book idea, the scene at the book convention is perfect. Loved this book

The tension was INSANE. I was literally holding my breath during some scenes. When he finally stops fighting it and lets himself love her?? I SOBBED. And his son Aiden absolutely stole every scene he was in. This book gave me all the feels like butterflies, laughter, heart eyes, the whole package.

Now I'm just staring at the wall wondering what to do with my life.

I have a BOOK HANGOVER 😩🏒
