"Lucky Tom" Sullivan is a working-class Irish American Uber driver from Somerville, Massachusetts, who unwittingly gets caught up in the local drug (OxyContin) trade. When François Laax, a twisted business major at Harvard, introduces fentanyl into the supply chain, it causes a spike in fatal drug overdoses. Cambridge Police assign Lou Del Vecchio, an Italian American detective from Boston's North End, to the case, and the chase is on.
