What a great, honest, raw, funny and sad book all in one. Joanna had me laughing throughout and crying through the Gavin and Stacey final. What a pleasure to be able to listen to Joanna’s life and her family, and to hear all about her fabulous career. I must say the s**t in the carrier bag was by far the funniest story ever. Thank-you for putting this great book out there.

This was so good I binge listened in 2 settings.
I was in two minds whether to purchase this title but I did and I’m so glad that I did.
Lovely story. Some funny. Some sad. Very strong and positive and determined lady.
Narration was fab and even better,read by the author.
Can only award full stars as it was that good.

I loved this book & didn’t want it to end. I had lived alongside Gavin & Stacey. I am Welsh & could easily relate to the characters & Barry was so familiar with. But I also enjoyed the truth. & openness Joanna gave to us in her book . Absolute joy to read & the audio is Lush . Thank you so much Joanna x
