I love the storyline I love it had action and the romance is amazing. It took me a couple of days to finish but I enjoyed every second part of the story

Great story. I absolutely loved the series, very action packed but each one unique. Totally recommend, has all the things you look for in a mafia romance. Lots of hot sex, action and alpha romance.

I generally enjoy dark Bratva/mafia romances & this one was no exception. It took me a bit to get into it, but once I wrapped my brain around everything going on, I was hooked.

The book is fast paced & full of action, steamy scenes & unexpected plot twists. I liked the characters & their story.

I enjoyed the audiobook & thought the narrators did a fantastic job! Loved the accents.

Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I didn’t really know what to expect with this book as it’s the first that I’ve read/listened to in this series. Although A J Summers isn’t a new author to me, the mafia genre is. I was fully expecting to enjoy her writing style and characters, but I was apprehensive about the actual story. I really needn’t have been. As always, an amazing story line with descriptions that make you feel like you’re experiencing every sight, touch and sound first hand.

Job be damned, Mila risks everything when she falls in love with Yakov. She’s a counsellor, he’s her patient but that doesn’t stop the chemistry that builds between them. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions. You get the breathtaking heat, passion and a little bit of spice, you get anger and violence that is the Bratva Mafia’s world, and then there’s the counselling sessions and the memory that Yakov shares with Mila, of Anastasia’s last moments, heart breaking! I literally couldn’t stop listening, yet another sleepless night for me.

Oh, and again, the perfect narrators added a little something extra.
