The narrator breath between ever other word so you need to have the speed at 1,5x-2x, otherwise the MC feels flat and unemotional, the author have given him a family just to try to get any emotion into the story but it falls even more flat. It's far from the worst I have read, but its further away from the greats.

Have the speed at 1,5x atleast.

I have read and listened to many webnovels, audiobooks, LN etc. out of all of them, this was the most system complete book. We know nothing, MC knows nothing. We learn as he does. I am currently loving this audio book and will continue to listen to the others in the series. The magic system is enjoyable as an IT enginner.
