as usual k.f breene has written an great book in this series. my only issue is nicole pooles vocal for fred, drives me nuts other than that her narration is great as usual.

Wonderfully narrated by this awesome vocal phenomenon!👏🤩

I listened to this on release and didn't enjoy it. I knew that couldn't be right, so I didn't review it until I read it again in a better headspace. Phew.🥰

For almost this entire book, 'the convocation' is on the road trying to recruit shifters and then a gargoyle Cairn.

Austin has to meet an Alpha challenge that Jessie will have to break up.😳 It's an eye-opening experience for the 'new to them' Alpha and his entire well organised pack, especially when mages attack!💥

They move on to try and encourage a rogue shifter to move into their area as his new home, with no strings attached. It turns out he's a famous, powerful Alpha from a large generational pack who walked away to leave it all to his sisters.🥰 They move on with him in tow to the Cairn. Naimh does her thing.😉 Tristan and Nessa draw ever closer.💘 And the entire trip has turned out to be a huge success.🙌

As much fun as this book was, it felt like a bit of a 'necessary' filler book to me.🤷🏻‍♀️
It feels like the series is winding up to bigger things, so they needed to collect power.😍
