Although the audiobook is a bit annoying in places it's well worth the time and money, and from my limited Mandarin knowledge now the vocabulary it teaches is pretty good. I did the first few lessons of the Pimsleur Mandarin audio course first and would recommend having some basics before going through this one, which will be a good supplement to a normal language course. Recommended.
