A very low-key, low-Gertie, tale! So it was funny, but not as hilarious as usual (although there IS a camel…)

However - I need the next instalment - NOW!!!

As usual, the three ladies get up to mischief and solve a complex mystery or crime dissecting character getting into trouble, although Gertie seemed to be on a little bit better behaviour this time round and enjoyable read I know I am already looking forward to the next The ending in this one has a nice twist

This book started close as the previous one ended with them at the hearing of Kitts. As they all come down from what happened they slowly restart their lives. Fortune gets a call from 'Shadow Chaser' The manager at the local motel. With her two side kicks along Ida-Bell and Gerty they head off to a pirate island to help the owners. With loads of laughs these stories never disappoint. Read brilliantly again by Cassandra Campbell.
