This book isn't just theory. It's full of ACTIONABLE STRATEGIES you can use right now to feel like a winner and achieve your goals--in sports and in life. I base my daily action plan on what I've learned from this book and it has really made a very positive difference.

This book does have some good tips on how you should orient your thoughts to improve your mental game. However, I found that most of this book was just short anecdotal stories of various athletes. I would have preferred if this book gave more "homework" assignments. I liked 10-minute toughness's approach to keeping a journal and how to work and make progress toward an improved mental outcome.

I was recommended this book years ago and finally made a purchase. I use it as a tool to motivate and focus when I need the "pick me up". I sometimes read this to apply in other nonathletic scenarios over "self-help" books. Great read highly recommend.

Nothing in this book is mind blowing if you have listen any other habit/self help/success attracting book, but the message is delivered very concisely while at the same time using examples from famous people that every reader can recognize.
